Our Fighting Forces #159 p13

Here’s a story that was near and dear to Jack Kirby. A story about the black American Olympian Henry Jones, now a US soldier, who raced against his main rival Bruno Borman in the Berlin Olympics and is now a German soldier. They meet up in war and the race is on again. The significance of this page is that it is the start of that race but now life or death is on the line. An epic story for many reasons that I’ll let you interpret. By the way, you pretty much have the cover scene in the bottom left panel.
