This is one of the best pages from the Avengers/ Defenders war, a six part series that captivated a lot of comic readers at the time it came out. It featured the Avengers battling the Defenders, the two most heralded hero groups at the time for Marvel. I’ve never seen a page this good from those battles. This page has Captain America battling Sub-Mariner and a guest appearance of Sunfire who you hardly ever see on an art page.
