We buy, sell, trade for single pieces or collections of Original Comic Book and Comic Strip Art
This is the only surviving work from the Golden Age of comics that is both penciled and inked by Dick Sprang. The only reason it survived is that Sprang requested for the story to be sent back to him as he was a huge fan of Alexander Dumas and in particular the story The Three Musketeers. Here’s a wonderful page from the story where Batman is disguised as D’Artagnan and Robin is helping him to uncover the scheme of Milady. This really belongs in a museum, in a special section dedicated to the history of comics.
